Foods and beverages that destroys tooth enamel

In healthy teeth, dentin (inner layer of teeth) is protected, or enamel layer. When damaged enamel, dentin is exposed to external factors (cold, hot or sweet) which irritate nerve stimulates dentin and consequently, causing tenderness, discomfort and even pain. What causes damages to tooth enamel? An unbalanced diet that contains many acidic foods and drinks led to decreased pH and demineralization of tooth enamel. A slight demineralization may occur every time you eat or drink acids.
